Before and After - All In A Row (Walk In)

April 4, 2019

Seeing before and afters of a similar space to yours is the best way to be inspired. Below is for bathrooms that utilize the idea of an open shower and a toilet in the room. In most cases, we have removed the bath all together allowing for a toilet in the room and a big fixed panel walk-in shower. Generally, these layouts always make the room feel bigger because the original shower feels like a wall upon entry by moving this to the back of the room and or converting the screen to a frameless set up will make it feel so much bigger.

Dianella Bathroom Renovation

The new owners of this 70's house were in desperate need for a second toilet being a big family. As the kids were over a certain age the owners had no use for a small bath and wanted to renovate to there needs which i am always a big ambassador for.

Morley Bathroom Renovation

The owner of this property was looking for a bathroom that had more light and had a wow to it. The hardest part of a renovation like this is understanding the best positions for light into the room so getting the long awning window was key.

  • Snow White Hexagon Feature Wall Tiles

  • Ceiling-High Tasco Mirror Cabinet

Lynwood Bathroom Renovation

This bathroom below was an example of a crazy thing they used to do in 70's bathrooms was the double entry to the toilet from the bathroom and laundry. It's dead space and no one needs two entrances into a toilet!. The owners decided to get rid of the bath and the door and created a much bigger feeling room.

 Highlights

  • Shower Recess (All Internal Tiled Feature)

  • Concrete Black Floor 300mm x 600mm

  • Rounded Shower Combo

Lesmurdie Bathroom Renovation

Bricked shower walls are not always my go to bathroom design as I feel it can block light into a room. That being said they are alot easier to clean then glass so its a balance of what you prefer.

Extra Info -

Encuastic floors can be awesome for hiding all the dirty and hair in a bathroom as the heavy pattern works as a distraction from straight colours floors where marks are easier to see.
