Before and After - Wet Rooms

July 11, 2019

To start off a "wet room" is a bathroom that is designed to maximise space in small rooms by creating wet areas in the bathroom that are traditionally dry. A large drain or multiple drains are set up to take water away quickly from larger areas than normal with no shower screen set up or a non-full shower screen enclosure. If you are looking for an extensive break down on the pros and cons of a wet room set up Click Here. Below are bathroom renovations completed by us that show examples of the wet room set up.

Ocean Reef Bathroom Renovation

Some rooms are just poor use of space and this bathroom is the biggest example of this with the toilet being the main view when you look into the room.

 Highlights

  • Opal 1600mm x 750mm Bath

  • Grey Stone Feature Wall

  • Stone Ocean  Benchtop

Lesmurdie Bathroom Renovation

A big bath was the owners wish with this bathroom so making a layout that had a bath, shower, vanity and toilet was the mission and hopefully everyone else loves the result as much.

 Highlights

  • Empire Black and White Encaustic (200mm x 2000mm)

  • Eden Freestanding Corner Bath

  • Matte Black Tapware

Mt Hawthorn Bathroom Renovation

Like all these bathrooms we have completed the owner of this Mt Hawthorn bathroom wanted to a big bath and big shower.

  • Freestanding Deep Rectangle Bath

  • Matte Black Tapware

Thornlie Bathroom Renovation

This bathroom below was an example of a crazy thing they used to do in 70's bathrooms was the double entry to the toilet from the bathroom and laundry. It's dead space and no one needs two entrances into a toilet!. The owners hated the spa bath like most owners late in life.

 Highlights

  • Shower Recess (All Internal Tiled Feature)

  • Concrete Brown  Floor 300mm x 600mm

  • Egg Bath

Mt Nasura Bathroom Renovation

I love people who make bold choices in bathrooms. I would be the most fun doing this job seeing someone take a space and own what they want. Below is a bathroom renovation that had really bad use of space with so much floor so the owners wanted that floor to pop!.

Highlights

  • Royal Chester Blue (450mm x 450mm)

  • Slipper Freestanding Bath

  • Hampton Shaker Blue Wall Hung Vanity

Churchlands Bathroom Renovation

When toilets are added to a room they are sometimes placed in the worst spots. The point of this renovation was to make the toilet not the feature when you open the door.

 Highlights

  • Undermounted Stone Benchtop - Ice White

  • Side Facing Freestanding Bath

  • Grey Feature Wall (Stone Ocean 300mm x 600mm)

Morley Bathroom Renovation

The owner of this bathroom had lived with this before bathroom for 6 years before we came along and made the most of the space. We often remove items from a room to make us do things quicker but life takes over! and here we are 6 years later everyone in the house using the ensuite.

Highlights

  • Custom Made Frosted Shower Screen

  • Tall Boy Cupboard

  • Ace Feature Wall - Checkered Feature Tile 300mm x 600m
