The coming year will be a little bit new and a lot of what’s been booming this last year into the next few. I will break down the top 6 items in a bathroom I think will be popular this year.

Best Bathroom Tiles – Terrazzo Tiles
Terrazzo-look tiles are created using fragments, flecks, and flakes of materials like quartz, marble, glass, granite or other suitable material chips and are one of the most versatile, cost-effective, and durable tiling options available in the industry.
By far they are the most popular bathroom tile we install due to the organic feel of the tile going well with timber vanities.
Additionally, due to the demand, you have so many choices with brighter colors such as pink or multi-colors really making a move into 2023 bathroom renovations.
Most Used Tiling Trend – Vertical Stackbond Tiling
Vertical stack bond tiling is so hot right now we need to use an aircon when installing it. I know that was a bad lame joke but all that is to say it is super popular.
Either tiled in a mosaic finish known as a kit kat tile like the example below
Alternatively using a smaller tile around 300mm x 75mm or 250mm x 50mm you can create a subtle but effective feature like below.
For me the reason the vertical subway is so popular is due to the impact it makes on smaller rooms making them feel tall.
Number 1 Bathroom Product Trending – Curved Shower Screen
Everything curved is on trend right now. Mirror cabinets, vanities, and shower screens in particular are the number one bathroom product trending.
Curved shower screens are so popular due to their affordable nature and availability.
Having a curved edge on your shower screen will make your screen less aggressive and create a more subtle bathroom design
A fluted screen with a curved edge is just as popular but a little more pricey though will save you on the cleaning.
Trending Tapware – Brushed Copper
Not everyone’s cup of tea at first but trust me copper tapware is going to be big in 2023.
For me, the reason the brushed copper tapware is popular is the fact it is not too dark and does not look yellow.
With some brushed brass tapware, it can be too gold or yellow but with the copper, it feels more natural and is not as aggressive as the black.
Pink bathrooms as mentioned above are booming a little bit so brushed copper goes perfectly with the trend.
Most Popular Trending Shelving – Shower Ledge
Shower ledges are not new but they have taken over the shower niche as the most popular bathroom product.
You can just do a lot more with the shower ledge than you can not do with the shower niche.
Shower ledges can be used behind baths, they can be used in showers or housing toilet systems.
Often the reason they are more popular as not everyone can have a shower niche but everyone can have a shower ledge.
Vanity Lighting
Vanity lighting comes in two forms. The most popular setup is the LED mirror which comes in all shapes and sizes but recently there has been a huge trend towards wall lights instead as they provide a more focused lighting or great decorative idea.
