Often these bathroom renovations will be described as small, and often they will be! other times they are giant and the homeowner is hoping to keep the cost down but whatever the vibe we are happy to help. These small bathroom renovations below we have completed in Perth are using what I call the open shower set up either as just an open shower or as a wet room incorporating a toilet or vanity in the same shower space.
Mt Lawley Bathroom Renovation
I love a simple feature wall and this bathroom is the best example. This room uses only two tiles and creates a lasting impact without looking out of place.
Highlights
- Harden Washed Feature
- Eden 1200mm Wall Hung Vanity
- 400mm x 600mm In-Built Niche
Currambine Bathroom Renovation
Terrazzo tiles will make your bathroom look stunning with little to no effort.
Atwell Bathroom Renovation
One of my favorite bathrooms we have ever completed not just because the owners were wonderful but more for the great use of space. Getting rid of the corner spa often in these renovations from the early 2000’s this ensuite really pops with the use of White Marble 600mm x 600mm and Concrete Finish Floors.
North Perth Bathroom Renovation
Small spaces are hard to get right, this space is 2.1m x 1.7m and has a big shower, bigger vanity and stunning features.
Highlights
- Heated Towel Rail
- Arch Mirror Cabinet
- Terrazzo Rainbow Finish
Leederville Bathroom Renovation
If you have a patterned floor the key is to allow the rest of the room to go with that floor and not overpower it.
Highlights
- Tall Boy
- Duck Egg Tiles
- Double Open Shower
Mosman Park Bathroom Renovation
Pattern floor tiles are amazing for hiding dirt and animal hair.
Kingsley Bathroom Renovation
Rounded mirror cabinets really add a pop to a bathroom that can not be understated. The use of a feature wall is a modern concept but works because it does not add a third tile to the room.
Scarborough Bathroom Renovation
The owners of this Scarborough bathroom renovation really wanted a bigger feeling shower so we go out thinking caps on and created the walk-in shower also allowing for a niche and cleaner finish to the bathroom, while also providing a little more privacy to the toilet area.
Highlights
- Round Black Mirror
- Laux Tiled Insert Shower Waste
- Waterproofed Awning Window

Kensington Bathroom Renovation
With renovations where the shower and the vanity area in the same section, we often will fall short and leave the space open. With this Kensington bathroom, it goes all the way across. The key to this renovation is keeping a certain amount of distance from the type of shower outlet you use.
Highlights
- Custom Made Shaker Vanity
- STUNNING Brick Fashion Smoke Olop Tiles
- Undermounted Sinks
Claremont Bathroom Renovation
A big growing trend for bathrooms in the 2020’s will be showerless bathrooms and the full wall screen is the best example of that like this Claremont bathroom renovation.
Highlights
- Alvante Stone Feature and Floor Tile
- Dracula Handmade Vanity
- Black Magic Tapware
Leeming Bathroom Renovation
Whenever I see the layout below my dream layout is the ALL IN A Row layout which is how we transformed this renovation below, you can see how much it opens up the space.
Extra Info – If you are going 600mm x 600mm always add 20% on wastage
Duncraig Bathroom Renovation
Matte based tiles are amazing for really popping a space. You can see from this renovation with the way the vanity becomes the star.
Highlights
- Mela Oak Vanity Base
- Nickel MELA Palco Tapware
- Nickel Heated Towel Rail
Maddington Bathroom Renovation
Find a layout that works for you. This layout gives you a massive feeling of space and shower
Highlights
- Dracula Vanity
- Captain Marble Tiles
- Footrest/Wall Set Up
Kinross Bathroom Renovation
This bathroom renovation is an example of saving money for not getting a custom made vanity and using that money to get a light-up mirror or beautiful mosaic feature
Highlights
- Blackbutt Vanity
- LED Mirror
- Diamond Herringbone Feature Tile
Toilet In The Shower Area (Before and After)
Below are bathrooms where the toilet is located in the shower zone creating a wet room style set up with a toilet instead of a bath. This layout is often completed to allow for a larger vanity or more functional space.
Fremantle Bathroom Renovation
Toilets in the showers area are designed to get a big shower in a small bathroom
Highlights
- Decorative Floor
- Small Square Tiles
- Arch Screen and Mirror Cabinet
Doubleview Bathroom Renovation
Vic Park Bathroom Renovation
Kinglsey Bathroom Renovation
The key to this wonderful renovation below is the large frameless shower screen and the full height tiling with the right tile. They both make the room feel expansive and clean.
Maranagaroo Bathroom Renovation
We all clutter our bathrooms way too much and this below before is a great example of this. By moving towards a more open feel though you allow such a bigger feeling of space.
Extra Info – Wall-hung toilets can be very tricky and a lot of planning ahead of time is required to understand how it impacts the rest of the room around it.
Bathroom Renovation Churchlands
The crazy thing about this ensuite is the previous owners had renovated the bathroom to take out the toilet and install a gigantic vanity. The new owners wanted that toilet back! but still wanted a larger double vanity with plenty of storage.
Mt Lawley Bathroom Renovation
Black and white is a classic combination. Black and white with hexagon and subway is a modern classic combination.
Highlights
- Midnight Black Hexagon Floor Tile
- Wood Vanity Top
- Shaker Vanity
Ballcatta Bathroom Renovation
Often with this style of renovation, we would place all items on the same wall to have the room function at its best. The owner for this renovation though wanted a much larger vanity and a compromise was come up with awesome results.
Mt Lawley Bathroom Renovation
Skylights are amazing for getting light into a bathroom they are not however great for the person who takes the photos of your bathroom… me. It creates an unnatural grey-blue tinge to the bathroom images which is a shame as this bathroom is so beautiful and detailed. It contains underfloor heating, LED internal light up vanity, and a fluted curved frameless shower screen just to name a few.
Highlights
- Fluted Curved Custom Made Frosted Shower Screen
- Underfloor Heating
- Architectural Marble Vanity
Lathlain Bathroom Renovation
Pattern floors are great for hiding all those dirty marks and hair
Highlights
- Conan Mixed Floor
- Snow White All Draws Vanity
- Tornado= Flush Toilet
Hovea Bathroom Renovation
I love concrete finish bathrooms that have a wood and white elements to them. They give light, feel clean but still warm at the same time.
Extra Info – This bathroom went with a pocket slider as opposed to a sliding door due to the limited external area beyond the bathroom.
Thornlie Bathroom Renovation
As you can see of the before of this Thornlie bathroom renovation it was poorly designed with little room to move. By opening up the shower, installing a nib wall, and giving that vanity draws you really make the most out of the space.
Highlights
- Okie Vanity Base
- Nibby Wall
- Black Storm Tapware
