Natural stone and reclaimed wood are as earthy as it gets. I personally love the Carrara Tiles in 600 x 600 as done right they look like one big wall of marble. Doing just a feature wall opposed to a whole room will appeal to all as its not overpowering. Wood is a trend but no idea how long it will last so as long as you do it right with a combined vanity accent this trend will last you much longer

I believe in this style of renovation more than other trends as I feel it has a real impact on the look of the bathroom. It does not feel stale or clinical but not over the top like some designs.
